Practical answers on Majico, repo-native brand, GTM, and SEO. For deeper guides, browse the blog or docs.
What is Majico?
Majico helps indie founders turn a positioning brief into repo-native brand: palette, typography, voice, and exportable tokens for your app.
Do I need a design agency first?
No. Majico is built for founders who want credible brand artifacts without a months-long agency cycle. You edit and export from the studio.
Where do brand guidelines live after export?
In your repo: design.md, tokens, and assets your team and coding agents can import. See the docs on creating your first brand.
Should I delete our brand PDF?
Keep it for external sharing if useful, but move canonical values into the repo so engineering and agents use one source.
What is the minimum to put in the repo?
Logo SVG, core color tokens, heading/body fonts, and a short voice note. Expand from there.
Is AI branding always bad?
No. Ungoverned AI branding is bad. Brief-led, edited, repo-native brand is fine.
What should I fix first?
Homepage hero and primary CTA. Highest traffic, highest leverage.
Should I pause social if GTM is unclear?
Pause broad posting. Keep narrow updates for existing users. Fix positioning first.
How long should GTM take?
A focused afternoon for v1. Iterate monthly as you learn from sales and support.
How long should repurposing take?
Block two hours: one for longform, thirty minutes each for two social variants, thirty for docs tweaks.
Does repurposing hurt SEO?
Duplicate copy hurts. Unique angles on the same insight do not. Canonical URLs and distinct titles matter.
How many keywords should an indie SaaS track?
Start with ten to fifteen phrases across problem, solution, and comparison buckets. Expand only after you have live pages for them.
Do I need expensive SEO tools?
No for early stage. Search Console plus manual SERP review plus a consistent publishing rhythm beats a bloated tool stack.
Do I need a CMS for SEO?
No. MDX or DB-backed posts with a publish gate work well if you maintain canonical URLs and sitemaps.
What hurts Next.js SEO most?
Duplicate titles, missing descriptions, and client-only content for pages you want indexed.
Tailwind or CSS variables?
Either works. Pick what your team already uses; tokens are the contract, not the syntax.
How many tokens on day one?
Roughly a dozen: core colors, two fonts, spacing scale, two radii. Grow when pain appears.
Do I need Majico MCP for this?
MCP helps agents pull live guidelines and tokens. Manual files work if you keep them updated.
How often to refresh brand files?
Whenever positioning or palette changes, typically quarterly for early-stage SaaS.
